- We usually reply within a few hours (Bishkek time, UTC+6), in English or Russian.
- We need: dates, number of travellers, rough budget, interests and arrival point.

- Prefer chat? WhatsApp +996 777 998 882.
Fill in the form above and a local team in Kyrgyzstan will reply, usually within a few hours (Bishkek time, UTC+6), in English or Russian. A request is free and you pay nothing to ask. We need about 5 details — dates, group size, budget, interests and arrival point — to propose a realistic route with verified local providers.
What happens after you send a request?
- Confirmation. You receive a reply by WhatsApp or email confirming we have your request and asking any missing questions.
- Options. We propose a route or a set of services — accommodation, transfers, guides, activities — with price ranges in som, dollars or tenge, and what is included.
- Adjustments. You change what you like: shorter drives, more hiking, a different budget level. Most plans take one to three rounds.
- Confirmation of services. Once you agree, providers confirm availability and payment terms are fixed in writing. Where possible, we encourage card or QR payment with a receipt instead of cash.
- On the trip. You have one WhatsApp contact for questions while travelling.
What we need to know
| Question | Why it matters | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Dates or month | Season changes everything: Song-Kul yurts open roughly late June–early September; ski season is December–March | “10–20 July” or “sometime in September” |
| Number of travellers | Defines vehicle type and room setup | “2 adults + 1 child, 8 years” |
| Budget level | Guesthouse vs hotel, shared vs private transfers | “mid-range, around $X per day” |
| Interests | Trekking, horses, culture, lake holiday, skiing, food | “easy hikes, yurts, no camping” |
| Arrival and departure point | Bishkek Manas, Osh, or overland from Almaty | “fly into Bishkek, leave via Almaty” |
| Special needs | Dietary (halal, vegetarian), mobility, children | “halal food, no long horse rides” |

How long does it take to get an answer?
Usually within a few hours during the working day. Requests sent late at night Bishkek time are answered the next morning. Complex multi-country routes or large groups may need a day to collect confirmed options from providers.
Do I need to pay to send a request?
No. Asking is free, and there is no obligation. Payment questions only arise when you decide to confirm specific services, and the terms — amount, method, cancellation conditions — are agreed in writing before you pay. Read our money and payments guide to understand cards, QR and cash in Kyrgyzstan.
Myth vs fact
- Myth: you must book everything months ahead. Fact: outside July–August, many guesthouses and drivers can be arranged a few days before; peak summer and ski holidays are the exception.
- Myth: Kyrgyzstan is cash-only. Fact: QR and card payments are widespread in cities and growing in the regions; cash is still useful in remote areas.
Who will answer you
Requests are handled by Ala-Too Digital LLC, the company behind visitalatoo.com — see about us. We work with local guesthouses, drivers and guides who have been verified by us; we do not resell anonymous offers. Your data is used only to answer your request; in our research only anonymised, aggregated statistics are used.
Business requests
Tour operators looking for ground handling should use the B2B page; guesthouse owners can list their property.
FAQ
How quickly will you reply to my trip request?
Usually within a few hours during the working day, Bishkek time (UTC+6). Requests sent at night are answered the next morning; large groups or multi-country routes may take up to a day.
Is it free to send a request?
Yes. Sending a request is free and does not oblige you to book. You only pay when you decide to confirm specific services, after the price and payment terms are agreed in writing.
What information should I include?
Five basics: travel dates or month, number of travellers (with children's ages), budget level, interests, and where you arrive and depart. Mention dietary or mobility needs if any.
Can I pay by card instead of cash?
Often yes. Many providers accept card or QR payments, and we encourage digital payment with a receipt. In remote areas some cash is still useful; we tell you in advance where.
Do you organise trips from Almaty?
Yes, we can plan routes starting or ending in Almaty, including the Almaty–Bishkek road and the Kegen–Karkyra route to Karakol.
